Anyone have any views on how they think it's going to go? Can't seak for the East coast but West is sure to go conservative all the way. Will the Liberals manage to cling on to the thin grasp they have on the power of the country?
And does anyone else think that it's just wrong to have a federal election and have a party that only one province can vote for?

Yes, I'm on the left coast too.
Conservative government for sure, but will it be a majority?
If Buzz keeps trying to help the Liberals, it will be a majority. Never shoot yourself in the foot when it is in your mouth....
Any bets on how long a Conservative minority government would last?

I may not agree with the entire conservative platform but living in Alberta I have seen the results they have gotten. The East have always relied too much on liberal hand outs to make the move to conservative I think. And really, is NDP even a serious option? Just look at BC to see the damage they have done.
If the liberals do get in it won't be with the amount of votes they would like to get. I think that people are fed up and ready for some serious change.

Originally posted by richjohnsonWhat do you think the liberal party has that keeps voters re-electing them? Have they not proven time and time again that they're not fit for the job. Haven't Canadians had enough yet? Or is it a mere reflection of voter turnout?

Mabye if the NDP can manage to sway enough of the uninformed vote they'll help weed out the liberals.
