Inervate their linemen that their strength become like that of Richard Simmons!
Guess not.
I won't pray for T.O.'s ankle though. He says he's got God on his side, and even though I doubt it, I don't want to jinx anything.
Originally posted by sasquatch672Of course I'll watch. No party. Well, I guess a husband and wife can have a party now that I think about it. During halftime, of course. Now that Steelers are out (Rothlesberger is a local boy) I'll root for UofM grad Brady and the Pats.
I'm a huge Eagles fan & always loved the Super Bowl. Now that my team's there, I'm curious to know how much interest is out there. Are you all planning parties? Are you watching the reports this week? How about my English friends?
i used to watch American football on channel 4 in England, but the coverage was bought by Sky so it was more difficult to get hold of, American football is only played in America really, with it being a token sport in a few other cuntries mainly those that suck up to America, or are so near that they kind of have to out of sympathy. (Canada)
i would just like to point out to Americans who delude themselves into believeing that the Superbowl is the biggest sporting event in the world that the Olympics is the biggest followed by the world cup of soccer followd by the english FA cp final which draws more viewers than the superbowl as it is the oldest cup competion in the world, and show all over the world.
which by the way america it is also popular all over the world and PLaYED all over the world, a truly INTERNATIONAL sport, which has a World cup that involves the whole world.
i would like to just say that i personally like American football, i just dislike americans who fail to recognise that there is a world of 6 billion people and that a good portion don't like America because America is ignorant abut the rest of the world.

I think that they don't like us because we are the World Champions of Baseball. 🙄
OK. Before anyone launches into it, I know that the USA didn't even qualify for the Athens Olympiad; however, this just means that for one day we were second in the world. Canada, who beat us in the qualifying round, is the second best country in baseball because they have a major league team. Canada was the World Champion of Baseball back in 1992 and 1993.
It's like putting Brazil and Italy against each other in the preliminaries of that big soccer tournament . . . What's it called? Oh yeah the world cup.
Edit: Dammit! How do I make the rolly eye dude emoticon?
Edit2: Ah like this? 🙄

Don't you just love the irony that shines through posts like these? Brilliant people exposing the ignorance of all Americans and the countries that suck up to them. They sure are great. They don't make themselves look like fools at all.

I was always led to believe that American footall was a game for homosexuals where a tight end could eventually turn into a wide receiver!!!!
