I noticed the other day that people who live in totally beautiful areas of the US all seem to be liberal. Those who live in "wasteland" seem to be conservative.
I wonder if this is because if you view "human actions" as spoiling actions, you want to prevent such? An ...[text shortened]... is about the same liberal.
Weird observation, but a spark of truth contained... I think.
But there are still people who live surrounded by primeval forest who really want to chop it all down and make it into fast food packaging if they can make a buck out of it. Perhaps liberals tend to move to more scenic areas while conservatives prefer a place where they can farm, chop trees or mine without too much interference?
