Have you ever noticed?

When a cat wants to be fed, it will watch your legs for motion.

When a dog wants to be fed, it will plead its case to your eyes.

What mysterys await the discovery of "cat lovers" as opposed to "dog lovers" await us?

Am I the first person to ever notice this?

I've noticed a cat will communicate with via eye contact if it knows a person well. Otherwise, it won't look upwards at all.

Interesting. I'll have to watch more closely. My daughters cat gets fed by me. She leaves early to school.

She(the cat TC) looks at my leg until I make a move. Then she takes off in the indicated direction.

My dog and my daughters dog always just wag tail until they see in my eye if i am going to walk them.

My cats look me in the eyes when they want to be petted or played with. My mom feeds them so I don't know if they look her in the eyes.

My sister says the look at her in the eyes when she gives them water.

narrowing your eyes to your cat is supposed to be a loving sign..your cat will do it back. if i wink at my cat he will wink back..not sure what this means though😉

Have you ever noticed how cats will always sit on the person who doesn't like cats or is allergic to them?

Well, the natural human reaction for dissmisal is a slight turn of the head to one side and a brief (sometimes only partial) closing of the eyelids. This is exactly the same gesture cats use when they are relaxed and comfortable, so it is likely that cats mistake this gesture for a sign of welcome and comfort.

Cats like me - the feeling is NOT mutual.

Why do cats try so hard to have you step on them!? I swear my cat is going to send my wife onto the floor someday... I just kick through the cat as not to stumble.

A lot like a bowling ball cutting through the pins!

Our girl cat does this. My sister calls it her "Marilyn Monroe look".
