Report: 55 Chicago Public Schools Have Zero Students Proficient in Math, Reading

Dozens of Chicago schools have reportedly claimed none of their students are proficient in math or reading.

Findings reported by Wirepoints are from the Illinois Department of Education’s 2022 data showing in 55 of the city’s public schools, zero students were proficient in those subjects, according to a Fox News article published Monday.

“It’s yet another indictment of the state’s educational system,” Wirepoints explained in a social media post February 14:

Not a single student can do math at grade level in 53 #Illinois schools. For reading, it’s 30 schools. Not 1 single student. Education data from

But we already knew that Chicago was long gone, right? A suck-bag BLUE city, smoldering in filth, murder, and corruption.

Any stats on the demographics of those schools?

I’m sure , ahem, certain posters here absolutely HATE seeing this, but………………………………do you think for a minute that THEY will register such discontent ? They won’t …they have an aversion to agreeing with us even when we are right.
Very telling . Mob mentality.

IL Dem Sen.: ‘We Should Investigate’ Where Billions from Feds, State to Chicago Schools Went

On Tuesday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “Big Money Show,” Illinois State Sen. Willie Preston (D) discussed a report that 55 Chicago public schools have no students who are proficient in math and reading and called for an investigation into where the billions of dollars Chicago’s public schools have received from the state and from the federal government through the American Rescue Plan.

Where'd the $$Billions go, Chi-ca-go!!

Yes it is. Knee-jerk reaction for dems. Always protect the derelict dems. It's like a rule of the cabal.

So, someone’s claiming that in 53 different schools, not 1 pupil is proficient in maths and reading.
Not 1 pupil in 53 schools.

And you take that data as true?

Seriously. What are the bloody chances? Do the maths? It’s so bloody unlikely it’s not even worth speculating on.

When you’re at school, you’re supposed to grow a “in the ballpark feeling” about things. So, if someone says that “nobody in Scotland wears underpants” that you get a gut feeling that it’s hogwash, and that you fact check it.

The same with this. 53 schools… say 100 kids per school (probably a lot more)… and not one is proficient in reading and maths…

Go on. A ballpark feeling on that: how likely could that be true?

@shavixmir

You obviously haven't been to any american inner cities that are predominantly not white.

Proficient...in this context, means, up to supposed standards.

Wanna see dumbed down?
Listen to our Vice President, she is in some sort of alternate universe:

The smarmy, patronizing way she speaks to crowds like they are kindergarten kids makes me ill.

Some hilarious figures about Chicago schools:

Zoom-school seems to have worked out great.

Pretty bad. The explanation from CPS appears to indicate that the schools on this list are "option" schools for students who have previously dropped out and missed large chunks of education time. So it's not really appropriate to judge them on grade level proficiency. They also note their overall nombers are similar to other urban area schools.

Anecdotally, I know several families in the area who opted into private during covid. The public school system is dealing with the remaining students and teachers who don't want to be.there either.
