Why do we park in driveways and drive in parkways...?

"With global EV sales rising 28% last year, BYD outsold Tesla for the first time on an annual basis, helped by rapid growth in Europe, where the Chinese automaker has been widening its lead over the U.S. rival.
Tesla, whose sales fell about 8.6% in 2025, is facing intense competition, especially in Europe, raising questions about its ability to revive the core auto business as CEO Elon Musk steers the company towards robotaxis and humanoid robots."

And:
"Chinese carmakers like BYD, Chery, Geely, and GWM have been taking the world by storm. Despite not having a presence in the United States, industry figures sourced from a Nikkei report suggest Chinese automakers could end 2025 well ahead of Japanese manufacturers in global sales for the first time in history. Full-year numbers are not published yet, but with the gap widening through November rather than shrinking, confidence around the outcome is high. China has built its success on rapid electrification, competitive pricing, and a global expansion approach, and it's paying off. And crucially, China now builds everything from simple commuters and spacious family SUVs to sports cars and even 1,000-hp supercars, which shows how far its automotive footprint has come."

You really need to stop relying on YouTubes as your sole source of information.

You are insatiably gullible.
What ? not sell ?
Chinese ev cars are by no means "unsellable" — on the contrary. Their exports have surged 87% year-on-year.
Those so-called "parked vehicles"? They are most likely in-transit shipments waiting for export or local inventory — definitely not a sign of weak demand.
Stop relying on YouTube videos and check the real market data.
Anyway, i am less familiar with the export market, let's focus on China's domestic market:
EV sales have surpassed fuel-powered vehicles in annual terminal sales for the first time. Meanwhile, fuel-powered vehicles have seen a "sharp decline," with a year-on-year drop of over 17%.
In 2025, China’s EV sales reached 12.36 million units, while fuel-powered vehicle sales stood at 10.77 million units.
Based on my personal observations among people around me, virtually every one of my relatives and friends has purchased an electric vehicle (EV).
