@vivify saidPerot was an outsider and a true anti establishment candidate. He was against NAFTA and Bush and Clinton were both for it. The corporate news media did everything they could to smear Perot as the crazy candidate, mostly because of the way he talked with his southern accent. SNL did endless skits portraying him as stupid and wacky.

Perot wanted to reduce the nation debt. Powerful people did not want that.
