Trump's net worth is 2 billion. You're saying Trump amassed a debt totaling almost half of his all his assets as a business strategy?
@AverageJoe1
Tell me why Trump never got his casino back after THAT particular financial disaster? You thumbs up Trump to the very end. I imagine you will build a shrine to him as your personal god after he dies.
@sonhouse saidI was speaking conceptually, I would prob personally not vote for him if in Prison. BUT, I would really be thinking hard and fast if Biden were the only other choice................................................................................... Then, alas, I would probably vote for Trump in prison. I know, I know, crazy world..........
@AverageJoe1
So you finally gave up the pretense of not voting for Trump if he was sent to prison.
Good to see you honest for a change.
@sonhouse saidDon't know anything about it , that case, but if it was all done by the law, then maybe he planned the whole thiing? Who knows. Had to be on the up and up if he got it back. What Chapter of Bankrptcy was it, they vary with their processes.

@AverageJoe1
You carefully DON'T look into Trump failures and don't give a rats ass about his conviction of fraud, TWICE already, which you undoubtedly don't follow either since you don't want to know anything bad about Trump but he was fined 25 MILLION for TWO of his many frauds, Trump so called University and Trump so called charity.
You are probably so much in the dark intentionally that you never heard of either case where he WAS convicted already. THREE convictions now, counting the defamation case he just lost and continued to defame that woman which means yet another case of defamation against the same woman, now the fine is 5 MILLION and will probably double that when the second case goes to court.
So clearly moral character counts for nothing for you zombies.
@athousandyoung saidYou just don’t see it. The immediate point is that people ‘with money’ borrow money for projects, to buy a warehouse or a home. The loan is 6%, and they take the money they still have it, earns 10% invested .
I'M A SMART BOI BECAUSE STUDENT LOANShttps://www.cnn.com/2020/10/28/politics/donald-trump-loans-debt-new-york-times/index.html
“I’m the king of debt. I’m great with debt. Nobody knows debt better than me. I’ve made a fortune by using debt, and if things don’t work out I renegotiate the debt. I mean, that’s a smart thing, not a stupid thing.”
Pressed by ...[text shortened]... icago loan, records show.
“Ultimately, Mr. Trump’s lenders forgave much of what he owed.”
So this smart guy who, horrors, borrows money, Makes 4%…. He nets 4%. Why tie his own money up in a warehouse?
And it is somewhat true that Trump borrowed so much money that the bank unwittingly was, in a way, a partner of his!!
Beyond that, I’ll pass on discussing Trump business deals. Try Sonhouse?
@AverageJoe1
Now, this concept does not apply to student loans……why?
Because the student does not have money to start with. He borrows for a different reason.
@AverageJoe1
It is useless to even try to talk about Trump failures because your stock answer is that is just business. But if it had been Biden losing a casino you would be screaming HANG that fraudster. If Trump was a dem, you would be after his throat for all the shyte he pulled. No he did NOT get the casino back because he is too stupid to actually run a business successfully.
@athousandyoung saidI posted an outdated link earlier: his current debts total $1.3 billion:

He's aso on the cusp of losing $250 million from his civil lawsuit due his constant in-court outbursts, ignoring the judge's gag order, attempting to illegally enter evidence into court, etc.
No free money for this guy.
@shavixmir saidI thought it was one choice, not two.
Actually, re-reading the title of this post… that’s how much trouble the US is in.
If that’s your only choices for running the country, you are seriously fukked.
The title's not talking about one guy?
@sonhouse saidWith all due respects, I would not care, because, Sonhouse, it IS just business. It is quite a joke to hear people say that this billionaire is a bad businessman. Biden has never had a job, so no sense posting about such hypotheticals.
@AverageJoe1

But I'll play......If Trump were president with the hell at the border, (and we haven't even seen their stealing our kids' jobs yet, your kids), you would be a bit upset and raving about how horribly he has ruined our country with the open border. But you are cool with the border, when all of you fellers are being quite disindenuous about it. Why do y'all bore us writing about the dark side of (casino)business when we are not inside that world? You pretent you know all about how that came down? I was in a business one time that did not do well. Made bad decisions. If I were mayor of the town, would you have fired me?
How bout pick subjects everyone understands and can cajole about? I am a businessman in a professional life, but I could never grasp the casino world. Why do you weigh the forum down with it? Why have you never said a bad thing about the rapist Bill Clinton, while you fault me on the Trump side?
@athousandyoung saidHere is a good question: IF Trump can get his debts forgiven, legally, under the law, using statutes providing for same, should you be up set with Trump personally, or should you direct your ire at the 540 legislators who make the laws that give him the luxury of having his debts forgiven?
If he can get his debts forgiven it IS a good business strategy. Free money!
