My stance on the matter is documented: comedians are free to say wharever they want.

He’s right though lots of people are saying a lot worse about his missus and he hasn’t hit them, selective outrage was a very accurate dig at smith who selected the smallest of his wife’s critics.

@vivify saidApparently the whole of his circle and wider tinsel town is saying quite nasty things that I don’t think should be said given that they have children, albeit grown up, but still this must be a lot worse for them than a badly jibe about their mother at the Oscar’s from a stand up comedian.

Rock seemed genuinely close to tears when he addressed it directly.
