Exactly the same arguments are advanced for female and male circumcision. It is our custom, it is our religion, it is cleaner, it looks better, it prevents inappropriate sexual feelings.

You can't logically defend male circumcision while calling female circumcision backward and an abuse of power. Both are wrong.
Don't recall defending male circumcision. Both are unnecessary and both are a violations against innocence. Although a man is still able to achieve orgasm, even after circumcision, while a female is not.

I'm thankful I had all girls so it wasn't something I had to consider doing. If my youngest had been a boy her father was determined to circumcise him, while I was against it. Could have been an ugly situation all in the name of misconception.

Thank heaven for little girls. 🙂

Why do you defend "boys" skins and attack "girls"? Or have I mis-interpreted you again?
I will try to make myself clear.

If an adult decides to cut off part of his penis or her clitoris because they think it will look cute or they think God wants them to, I have no objections.

Non-medical circumcison on children - who can not give informed consent - for this mutilation is always wrong. Wrong for females, wrong for males.

So if you defend male circumcision as acceptable - you can not criticise those who circumcise females.

Both are evil and the battle against female circumcision must also include male circumcision.

But, as mokko says, female circumcision is actually worse from a physiological/biological point of view, which is probably why so many people are against it.

Yea. That makes much better sense when sober. I can't argue with equality for all.

Sorry. I might have over-stepped into the un-polite realm again. God knows I have been known to hitch-hike there a bit.

Of course, I would have to modify my course. Or redesign my course of action.

Or just make a rude interuption type joke and apologize for being course?

Connundrums are us.

Which course will benefit mankind?
