I think we're entering a global cooling period. The solar flares and the continuous reduction of sunlight will eventually lead us back into a new cold age.
It is my understanding that solar flares in themselves have little to do with our sunlight levels, on their own, and you have jumped straight to the point of reduction in sunlight, without explaining why.
Also note, that despite any kind of 'solar cycle', temperatures are still continuing to increase, and this has not stopped continuing, how can you justify we are now entering a 'global cooling period' then? 😕
Originally posted by zeeblebotI was not aware of that. Such freezes do occur occasionally up in the Grapevine like that. One time my family and I drove for like 10 miles up a street, past a little touristy/rest stop kind of village which gladly took our money without comment, and then...to where the signs told us to turn back. Those bastard villagers didn't say anything.
how about the freeze a few weeks ago, when 500 or so cars got stuck on tejon pass?
That area is really a pain in the nuts sometimes. Going from the SF area to the LA area and back can be a hassle if the Grapevine wants to give you attitude.
