Conflicts of interest Yes or No?

Donald Trump's children sit in with him when he meets with foreign heads of state while at the same time running his business. Donald Trump stays partially involved in this business interests while President.

I don't know enough about the law to understand if these things are illegal or simply breaking with tradition. Democrats are crying foul. Republicans are saying it's no big deal. So, would the learned folks such as SH76 or No1Maurader please tell us if Mr. Trump's action are illegal or just unusual, because frankly, I don't know who to believe.😕
