Apparently conservatives are refusing to fund the GOP in order for Congressmen to win elections in the House for 2014.
I think this is a win/win for everyone. After all, pretty much everyone here hates the GOP. Liberals hate them because they have some conservative residue and conservatives hate them because they have never done anything for the conservative cause. I just love in the article that it states that conservatives refuse to promote the cause of the GOP, which I would ask, what is that cause? I have no idea.

When was the GOP ever "conservative" according to your standards?
With "W", his spending was atrocious, he enacted the largest entitlement any Republican has in history, and waged war across the globe. What did he do for conservatives?
I'm just asking, what are we losing here? For me, we are losing politicians who run as conservatives but are not, which end up giving people like me a bad name. Let the John McCains and Mitch McConnols join the DNC. They won't be missed at all.
Instead of watching the GOP sell their collective souls every year to the corporatists as the Middle class shrinks to nothing, we will only watch the DNC do it.
However, it will be a problem if the DNC continues to dominate government. They will need a punching bag. Who will it be? Perhaps they will target "conservative" liberals within the DNC. That would be my guess.

Right wing political strategy is to make vague criticisms using poorly defined buzzwords and phrases like "entitlements", "big government", "liberals", "progressives", etc. The right wing is deliberately keeping specifics out of the conversation because they don't want to be associated with any specific spending cuts - they want to blame Democrats for the specifics.
That's what I would think too - GWB certainly comes closer to Coolidge than any other GOP president since him. But it's hard to get clear and coherent answers out of whodey, probably because he hasn't really thought about what he thinks.
Two Santas, Starve the Beast. That is right wing political psychology distilled to it's essence.
