Community members are demanding justice after a white man in Kansas City shot a black boy, Ralph Yarl, twice for ringing the doorbell of the wrong home.
Ralph Yarl, a 16 year old Black boy, was shot twice by a white man in North Kansas City after accidentally ringing the doorbell of the wrong home while attempting to pick up his sibling. The white man reportedly shot Ralph in the head through the glass door, then when Yarl was already bleeding out on the ground, shot him again.
Reports indicate that the white man was taken to the police headquarters briefly to provide a statement but was released shortly after without charge

I am sure this will be a very short thread with everyone agreeing the shooter should have been charged and that it was the clearest example of racism.
@zahlanzi saidSounds a bit too good to be true for the race baiters.

From your link zahlooney bamboozle:
"This is a developing story and more updates will be provided as they become available."
Don't get your hopes up that it's all race just yet zahlooney.

You are not qualified to write about our cultural problems. We are swamped with them, which of course is the goal of the Biden administration, for obvious reasons. You have no idea what it is like, being a vanilla population, 89% ethnic. At this point, we cannot get a handle on what our population is. We can only resort to these news stories to get an idea. You will never get an idea.
"""The Romanians (Romanian: români, pronounced [roˈmɨnʲ]; dated exonym Vlachs) are a Romance-speaking[56][57][58][59] ethnic group. Sharing a common Romanian culture and ancestry, and speaking the Romanian language, they live primarily in Romania and Moldova. The 2021 Romanian census found that just under 89.3% of Romania's citizens identified themselves as ethnic Romanians."
@averagejoe1 saidYeah that ringing the wrong doorbell thing has got to be stopped somehow, Jesus wept he rang the doorbell, that’s not what criminals do it’s what people with enquiries do. If this guy is not charged then just let the bullets fly and the houses burn.

@kevcvs57 saidzahlooney bamboozle has been presumptuous in his glee, no one got shot for ringing the doorbell.

@averagejoe1 saidYou want zahlooney bamboozles take on it? The cops are in on it, those dangit neegras been getting uppity and it was open season, so jed was released with apologies for taking up his time.
Why was the homeowner released?
@jj-adams saidI'm out anyway, it's zahlooney bamboozle trolling for attention, something he likes to accuse other people of doing.
"Officials have not yet identified the homeowner or his race. He was taken into custody but was released 24 hours later pending further investigation, Police Chief Stacey Graves said in a press conference on Sunday."
Who'd of thought, a hypocritter.
@averagejoe1 saidProlly because the homeowner's story had a lot more to it and the claims of "da poor boy just rang his doorbell" turned out to be false.
Why was the homeowner released?
@wildgrass saidInteresting that you are condemning him as guilty without any information, we don't even know his name or what color he is.
It's interesting you're defending the one dude here even while admitting that you don't know what "a lot more to it" there is.
I'm betting the kid did a lot more than ring his doorbell.
two kinds of people
One group reads a story of a teen picking up his sibling and confusing the house and getting upset about the teen getting shot twice.
The other looks at a teen getting shot twice and thinks "he must have done something".
Did he ring the bell in a threatening manner? Did he smoke a joint or drink a beer at one time?
Was he in a gang?
WAS HE WEARING A HOODIE?
@zahlanzi saidYou don't know what happened.

The police let him go for a reason.
