Could we just kick Texas out the Union?

I'm starting to think maybe we shouldn't wait for them to secede.

Maybe also make D.C. a state, or allow California to split into two states, so that we don't have to change the 50-star flag.

Well in that case, since they would no longer be part of the US they would be on their own and Mexico might actually win and get Texas back from the time they owned it originally if I have my history right.
Yep, I checked, it was theirs from 1821 to about 1836.

If it did happen many Americans would move there.

I also imagine Arizona and New Mexico would join them.
Possibly others too.

Without the threat of the US Marines landing in Vera Cruz and taking the capitol (From the Halls of Montezuma… ) Mexico would steamroll over those States. They’d take a page from Russia’s playbook and say they were defending ethnic Mexicans and it was theirs historically etc

Im moving there if it happens.
With my thick mustache and my Beanie cap I absolutely look Mexican.
I even have the walk and talk down pat.
I used to get the guys laughing with that one.

Edit: I better start learning some Spanish or whatever they speak.

But you were born and raised in Italy so you must speak fluent Italian which is not that much different from Spanish.
Oh no, I forgot, you updated THAT one to you were born and raised in South Africa.

Good luck learning Spanish since your native language would be Afrikaans in that case.

He will probably say next he is from Antarctica.

I mentioned my interest and professional work as a guitarist and he said he was born and raised in Moscow and I had mentioned Doo Wop music and gave a couple of youtubes showing that but he comes back with I was born and raised in Italy and I am offended by your use of the word Wop. So I tried explaining that was a musical genre but he just wigged out, next he was from South Africa, so 100% jerk.
