All this talk about whether or not the investigation into Trump and Russia had political bias and no talk about what started the whole investigation. News reports like this one from politico make no mention of how it got started.

This is where Crossfire Hurricane comes in. Here is an excerpt from wikipedia.

I take this to imply that the truth is what IS, not what is SAID to be. What is SAID to be is already at one remove from what is the truth, having been SAID to be, even by an agreed truth SAYER.

Mifsud isn't mentioned at all in that article. It is like all the others that assert a conclusion without explaining anything. Just like WMDs in Iraq, you have to have a leap in faith that you are not being lied to.

Was Mifsud's name mentioned in the recent report? If not, why? If so, what did it say?

The report verified what Mifsud said to Papadopoulos and debunked right wing claims that the Professor was an FBI confidential human source or some sort of intelligence asset used by the "Deep State" to entrap the Trump campaign.
