This calls for a celebration!! The US debt should reach $16 trillion today thanks to the 2 party system. I will now give praise to both parties individually.

To the Democrats. Thanks so much for ignoring your own rhetoric by voting to keep the Bush tax cuts. Sure your all a bunch of hypocrites to your very core, but it was for a just cause. And thanks for raising the yearly deficits and conquering the Tea Party adovcates to do it. Although the Tea Party is but a whimper, always remember they are the greatest threat to our cause. And lastly, not passing a budget the entire time Obama was in office is the thing to do even though it is your Constitutional responsibility. After all, no one care much about the Constitution anymore and it would be embarrassing to pass a budget with this kind of spending. I think Obama suggesting an embarrassing budget was a bit much. After all, not having anyone support his budget from within his own party was more embarrassing than the looney budget itself. I trust he can be taken aside to scolded for doing so and told never to do so again!!

To the GOP. Thanks so much for your spending sprees over the years as well with tax cuts to go with it!! In fact, why not start another war? Obama had 3 wars going at one tme and you only had 2 going at one time, so you will have to try at least start one more to out do him. And that massive entitlement that you voted for in the Drugs for Seniors program gets two thumbs up. I just love it when Obama jokes about not knowing how to pay for it all. Hilarious. Just continue to Cheney Doctrine of "Deficits no longer matter" and we will achieve our goals within no time!!

So what do you kids think? Can we reach $25 trillion in 4 more years? I think we can. In fact, we can bring the house down by not being able to pay interest on the debt in the very near future. Thanks one and all. 😵

Have the American Government get in touch with VR I'm sure he could cut them a cheque for it and at a very reasonable rate of interest...actually he may do it interest free....for 12 months.

I plan to get Chinese citizenship. What would my share be? About $16,000?

"The problem is, is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up our national debt from $5 trillion for the first 42 presidents -- #43 added $4 trillion by his lonesome, so that we now have over $9 trillion of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child. That's irresponsible. It's unpatriotic." - Barack Obama, July 3, 2008

Nice chart here: http://www.motherjones.com/kevin-drum/2012/08/republicans-are-responsible-our-soaring-national-debt

Summarized: Nearly every single thing driving the current increase in public debt — tax cuts, wars, the recession, and measures to fight the recession — was a result of Bush-era policies that were enthusiastically supported by nearly every single Republican currently hanging out in Tampa. They only got religion after a Democrat won the White House and had to clean up the mess they left behind.

Out pops the partisan shills.

Amazing. Yep, Obama and the democrats had nothing to do with this debacle. So when it all falls apart be sure and turn to them for the answers. LMAO.

Never mind that Obama is has only been president for only 1.6% of the time in US history but is responsible for about 33% of the spending in US history.

That can't possibly be even close to true.

I wonder if there were some Freudian implications in showing the twin towers in the comparison.
