I recently had to correct your ignorant statement that China doesn't pretend to be a democracy, using sources from not only a well-respected U.S. source, but from a Chinese publication stating that this is the case. Instead of admitting wrong, you ran away from the thread.

Vastly overrating expertise is a well-known trait of Duchess. In this thread, she was unware as to why China lets Hong Kong keep it's status as an administrative region, rather than pulling all remaining autonomy, if China doesn't sincerely believe in "one country, two systems". Duchess then acted like she knew the answer all along and changed the subject to how superior her expertise is; the same thing Duchess is accusing me of.

Every time Duchess gets refuted, she changes the subject. This post is only because Duchess incorrectly claimed her question was "rhetorical". When it was pointed out that the the context her question was made in clearly wasn't rhetorical, she changed the subject to (falsely) accusing me of "overrating" my expertise. This is all just a red herring to avoid having to admit error.
