The whole POINT of DEI is to try to right the OBVIOUS wrongs done to blacks in the past 400 years FOUR HUNDRED FUUKING YEARS where hundreds of thousands of those slaves DIED on the hell boats shipped from Denmark to Brazil and the states.
Where a slave cannot even raise their own children because the owner has the legal right to sell the infant right out from under the parents like a cow puncher selling a heifer.

And the psychological effects 400 years of slaver would have on even present day blacks. You cannot IMAGINE the lasting effects of all that.
There is STILL bias in giving jobs to blacks in favor of equally or even less equally qualified whitey.
DEI is a program to TRY to rectify that and they DON'T say hire a black dude who is less qualified than a white dude with the SAME qualifications. They say GIVE A BLACK a chance NOT an advantage.

Whatever DEI was 'for' ,it has run its course. Everything is even now, no racism. As a matter of fact I am thru talking about racism, about as much as I would be thru talking about what kind of cord telephone to buy.
It is illegal to treat someone different because of their race. There is no such thins as 'good discrimination', yet that is what GEI is doing. It is an industry unto itself. Like a corporate HR department has gone so far from managing human resources, it is now involved in things that HR people have no idea what they are doing.
DEI wants to be the determining factor about employment. You can have a diversified company, but if DEI is not satisfied if you have a work force that is naturally diverse, , because, they want to create it, make the decisions, About MY company!
