@Arkturos saidthere is no democratic way to end democracy. the whole point is that you can always vote how you want to be governed.
If 51% or more of active voters want it, what's the problem?
In four years some of the fictional people would be dead and some young people would become of voting age. You yourself are not the same person you were. The will of the people is no longer the same will that wanted whatever you mean by democratic fascism. You must have another vote but you can't because you're living in fascism now
@Zahlanzi saidWell, democratic fascism is obviously a contradiction.

But, a democracy can vote democracy away.
Why they would want to is beyond me, but theoretically it’s obviously possible.

no they can't. it's a contradiction for the exact reason i mentioned.
@Zahlanzi saidI disagree.

The existance of democratic fascism is a contradiction. But if a democracy can vote to ban criminals from voting, or black people, theu can vote to absolve everyone from voting altogether.
It is then no longer a democracy.
@shavixmir saidnow you see our point as conservatives...liberal loons voting our country away.

when you have 47% of the voters that depend on the govt to get food this is exactly how democrats stay in power.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidWhat you just explained is what would happen if Republicans actually got their sh-- together and managed to dredge up 51% of any vote.
Because the other 49% are getting screwed over by the majority.
But even then, it is simply not a majority. It would still be only a plurality of those who voted.
There is NO way in hell the Trumpublicans will ever get 51% or more of the entire population to vote their way. You're making an obvious error here claiming that 51% of the vote would be a "majority".
All because Trump claimed that Republicans had a "mandate" because they won a majority in the last election. Not true. It was only a plurality, but you swallow his lies hook, line and sinker.
