What Ukraine hoax?
You mean the one the transcripts prove, trump has admitted to and trump has openly repeated towards China?

That’s not a hoax. It’s happening, live, right in front of your nose.

You think it’s alright for a president to ask a foreign leader to investigate a political opponent???

So, if Obama had asked Putin to publish golden shower pics of trump, you wouldn’t have squealed like a little piggy?
Bollocks! You’d have been swinging from the trailer frame, drooling in anger. Like the little birther you are.

@Mott-The-Hoople
Let's not forget about the China hoax.
Trump didn't really stand in front of the media and tell the world that China should investigate the Bidens. 🤔

The $125M is nice.
Will come in handy in the impeachment defense.

"Just this week, the same people who insisted that Trump would never collude with a foreign nation for his political interest are now defending collusion with a foreign nation for his political interest. The people who turn crimson with rage when you point out Trump’s decades of corrupt business practices now insist his only interest in the Bidens is his concern about corruption. They say it’s outrageous that Biden’s son sat on the board of a Ukrainian company when Biden was vice president, but they also say it’s fine to have a daughter and son-in-law duo running vast swaths of foreign and domestic policy while also making a fortune from their business interests around the world. Enemies are sinful or decadent when they lie or cheat on their wives, but who are you to judge Comrade Trump?

There’s no halfway defensible ideological, intellectual, or moral standard that Trump doesn’t violate, often routinely. A cult of personality that replies “Trump’s right” or “his enemies are worse” before the question is even asked is the only place to hide.

A doctrine of infallibility is the only defense of this deeply fallible man."

There is more public support for impeaching Trump then there was for impeaching Nixon at the same point in the investigation:

Now, you could make the argument that the fairer comparison for Trump to Nixon is after the entire House formally voted to start the impeachment inquiry in February 1974. A Harris poll taken a few weeks later put support impeaching and removing Nixon at 43% and opposition at 41%. That gap is about equal to the gap we see today and only came months after the inquiry had really already began.
But even if you consider this later date, the 46% in favor of impeaching and removing Trump now is greater than the 43% who favored it during a similar point in the Nixon impeachment process. It wasn't until right before Nixon resigned that close to a majority wanted him out.

Republicans have two choices: they can either force Trump out or they can get slaughtered next November. All the money in the world won't change that.

All the evidence strongly suggests there was:

In a closed-door deposition Thursday before House committees investigating Trump and Ukraine, Volker testified that the Ukrainian government had "a lot of questions" about why Trump had frozen military aid to Ukraine, and that he "did not have a good explanation," per CNN.

The Trump administration didn't give its State Department officials a reason for withholding the aid. It didn't give Congressional members, including Mitch McConnell, a reason despite repeated requests. Departments were informed of the aid freeze on July 18th and on July 19th a Ukrainian official reached out to Volker to get him in touch with Giuliani to discuss opening investigations into Biden and his son.

Do you really have that much trouble dotting "i"s and crossing "t"s, Mott?

when will you ever learn about polls? the silent majority (conservatives) are never heard from in polls ( think clinton) still crying and slobbering on that one.

How many times do you have to be reminded that the aggregate of polls was within 1% of the actual popular vote in 2016? And about the same for the Democratic rout in 2018?

And for sheer hypocrisy, you already quoted and linked to a poll in this thread! It is an outlier among recent polls most showing Trump's net disapproval in double digits: https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_trump_job_approval-6179.html

Fine, quote a source showing that the Trump administration gave the Ukrainians and Congress, including Mitch McConnell, a reason for holding up the military aid already authorized by Congress.

Volker's testimony should be released fairly soon anyway and then it will be shown your dishonest strategy of ignoring anything not written on the right wing blogosphere when it suits you doesn't work in this (or any) case.
