As far as elitism on these boards, I don't see it (except like one example).

I think most people who post and play on this site are intelligent, reasonable and good people.

On a side note, I was wondering what a "rec" is. I am a bit new, so I don't get it 🙂

A "Rec" is a "recommendation". a single chimp credit for the post.

You and all of us can click on any/all posts and give it a "Rec"

Actually, only subscribers can give recs. When you subscribe you get an extra link down the bottom of each post.
