The topic being discussed in this thread was rap music; therefore, my comment was about rap music.

Easiest refutation thus far.

Music reflect the personality of the musician. Your rap music is all about :
- Guns and Violence
- Drugs and Gangs
- Greed and Materialism
- Abuse of women
- Unfaithfulness and Sexual Depravity
- Broken homes and neglect of the family
- Disobedience to parents
- Disobedience to the Law
- Anger and Disrespect

that is what is reflected in the music / lyrics. Now the music videos, they are the most disgusting videos imaginable.

So you admit you're not speaking from experience regarding rap. Thought so.

I also asked you to name your favorite black TV shows; Duchess, unsuprisingly, still has yet to answer.
What about black movies? I'm guessing no answer there either.

In fact, as I pointed out, I am most likely much less ignorant than Vivify about
many aspects of 'black culture', such as those found outside the USA.

Duchess now wants to move goalposts since she (by her own admission) is ignorant of black American media.

Your post could include most heavy-metal bands or any drama on Netflix. Whether Breaking Bad, the Sopranos, 50 Shades of Grey....everything you mentioned is all covered.

Yet (shocker) you single out rap.

Please tell this America isn't caving in on itself. Unfreeking believable. A Dean at Brandeis University.

https://news.yahoo.com/brandeis-assistant-dean-defends-critical-163643837.html

Brandeis University assistant dean Kate Slater says that "all White people are racist" and has declared that she hates "whiteness."

"Yes, all White people are racist in that all White people have been conditioned in a society where one's racial identity determines life experiences/outcomes and Whiteness is the norm and the default. That includes me!" read an all-caps Instagram post from Slater, who serves as assistant dean of student affairs.

She added in Saturday's post that while she doesn't "hate White people," she does hate "Whiteness."

------------------------------

Nooooooooooo, she doesn't hate white people. But she did just make a racial slur about them as in,
"all White people are racist"

What a freekin' lunatic. There out there!

The mere idea of being proud to be black or white is so bloody American it makes my eyes water in cynicism.

Oh, I’m proud to be white, male and Dutch?
Hahaha
Don’t fckin’ think so!

People seem to be proud of lots of things which are pretty damn pathetic.
Nationality, sexual orientation, flags, colours... somehow either they or I don’t comprehend the meaning of pride.
