People seem to be proud of lots of things which are pretty damn pathetic.
Nationality, sexual orientation, flags, colours... somehow either they or I don’t comprehend the meaning of pride.

The idea of pride movements is to address groups that have been minimized and to say it's ok to be proud of who you are and not let the b*stards grind you down, you know?

So yeah, white pride isn't really a thing .

You obviously aren't hearing me through your white privilege.

Of course black pride is a thing because blacks have been minimalized.

White people are the majority race in America and so they've never been minimalized.

The gay pride movement, again, is because gays have been minimalized in this country.

Whites don't need a pride movement. Apparently, every day is white pride day.

If you go around chanting, "USA! USA! USA!", I might call you a nationalist.

If you go around chanting, "White Pride! White Pride! White Pride!", what do you think I might call you?

Because of the history of white vs. black in this country, blacks can protest and say, "Hey! We're people too!", whereas if white people did that, they'd be seen as shoving their majority in minorities' faces, and they'd be called "racist", and rightfully so.

Whites don't have to freaking protest, man. They are not being institutionally mistreated nor are they seen as under anyone else's thumb. Despite this being 2021, blacks still experience crushing racism in this country. They have a perfect right to protest against "the man" for keeping them down, because whites are still doing whatever they can to keep them down. The single biggest piece of evidence for this: widespread voter suppression.
