do fairies really exist?

Little fairy folk with magical powers and stuff probably don't exist, but I don't really know.

Good effort! You're improving on the limerick front. When you string a couple of coherent sentences together I'll listen to what you have to say and reply.

ian, you dissapoint me sir, surely you could have came back with a more succinct yet proverbial, or shall we say clich'e type of limmerick of your own, hmmm, none forthcoming though, what a shame, yes, shame is the exact thing that you will be thinking about ,since i have now shamed you, i challenge you sir to a dual of the limmerick, and i suggest that we let the winner be decided by the good people who read these very same threads. so, now ian ,show me what you got.......do you hear that sound... thats the sound of ian pickering pondering the preponderance of the evidence against his ability to respond to such an challenge... come on ian , put the bottle down for a while and give it a go.....

A sad soul named Skywalker Red
For brains he has dynamite instead
But it's size is so small
That he hasn't enough at all
To blow off his own *%@#ing head

Do you know that it's really quite tragic
To believe in the power of magic ?
And in strange little creatures
with fairy like features
"Get the straightjacket nurse - double quick!"

NO FAIRIES my misguided friend
Which bit don't you comprehend?
As I'm sure all agree
It's quite plain to see
You're stark raving right round the bend

Your turn Sk.ywalker

By the way there should be a certain rhythm to a limerick which you are clearly unfamiliar with. Look it up before you try again - your last effort was frankly very poor indeed!

fairies fly all around you and me
too bad, you havent the eyes to see
square the circle and maybe you'll find
great things there, when you open your mind
as a wise man once said " Not all who wander are lost" you see

by the way, ian, i thought we agreed that the OTHER people who are reading this thread will be the ones who judge the limericks, so keep your comments to yourself.
