Unbelievable prices on all kinds of stuff, I ordered some Sperry topsiders, the 'Billfish', yesterday, I got them today, Sunday (I am in large city at the moment). I love this country. Amazing.
Anyway, you will find these at $174 if you google them. The price I paid, free shipping, was $39. Yes , they are the real thing, solid shoe.
Don't mean to put this improperly in the Forum, but the site is loaded with cost slashing. It is an Amazon company, I think. I should send some to Marauder so he can lay back and relax in some topsiders, take a break.
PS: Y'all please dont tax Amazon/Bezos out of business.
@AverageJoe1
I used to shop online until I realized it kills brick and mortar shops.
Now I shop at places that provide employment.
@endlame saidMalls? Brrrrrrr….that’s the only place to get shoes. I have a family!!

@averagejoe1 saidDude, it's been around for, like, 20 years or something. They used to only offer one deal a day (and it was usually pretty good) and then they started adding stuff. Then Amazon bought it and they basically became Amazon-lite.

You can get some good deals there, but mostly, they're basically just posting refurbished stuff at Amazon prices.
@sh76 saidThx. Thought it worth lookin into, thought to share that ‘find’ with y’all when saving over $130 for the shoes.

@averagejoe1 saidThank you for thinking of us (seriously).

@averagejoe1 saidStill couldn’t resist a plea on behalf of poverty stricken Bezos though huh, his business model relies on infrastructure paid for by his underpaid staff and the rest of us mugs, he should be getting taxed to the hilt, or at least to the point where he can only afford one space trip a year.

On top of that Amazon is a very efficient conduit for the produce of slave labour and the CCP.
@kevcvs57 saidNo one is forced to work there. Your ‘slave labor’ is just a given, all of them do it, I think that that has been threaded. You could start a thread with,,”That doesn’t make it right “. I don’t know enough to write about it, though.

Have we ever pondered the effect on the USA if the ( weaalthy ) Walton family closed their doors, Bezos too……..you best be careful what you wish for. Best to protect the goLden goose! So what if they are rich. So what. Just keep it coming, Sam and Jeff.
