My electric bill last month was over $300, so for the first time in my life I am wearing warm clothes and a light jacket at home in order to be comfortable with the thermostat set down 60 F.
Never, ever have I or my wife had to do such a thing.
Welcome to the new world order, brought to you by the Democratic Party..

I don't wear a dress, but I do wear warmer clothes.

Is there anything that hasn't gone up in price? The dollar store where I live is now charging $1.25 per item.

I don't want to think about this summer, my AC is much more costly than my heating bill.
I don't even live in a cold climate and it's stupid expensive to stay warm, staying cool at 100+ degrees is going to be very expensive.

But Wait!!! Help is On The Way!
Shav, and others, say that the Universal Declaration of Rights give you, JJ, a right to being warm, among other things. It is provided in Article 25,..."A right to a standard of living adequate for health and well-being,,".
Certainly by receiving this right, your heating costs will drop substantially. Now, I don't know where you apply, or how you go about it, that would be for Shav to answer.
But we can't find him!!
