Does Government/USAID have a duty to supply jobs?

We don't live in a democracy, it is a Bureaucracy. Under Article 2, the president has an obligation., a duty, to take care that laws are faithfully executed, that money is not misspent.
It is great that Musk is Trump's heat shield. Saving our tax money. I actually believe that USAID employees believe that the Federal Government exists to supply them with jobs. I have a company......220 employees, Uhhh, do I have a duty to supply them with jobs.
Can someone tell me the difference? We know that I do NOT have such a duty, so why does the government?

As long as the government is using force to protect absentee landlords' property rights it has a responsibility to make sure people can afford to pay the rent.

I tried to find it in the Constitution where it says the President doesn't have to spend money that the Congress has already appropriated by law, but I can't seem to locate it. Could you help me out?

I mean he's supposed "to take care that laws are faithfully executed" like you said - that includes spending bills passed by Congress, doesn't it?

I never know when y'all are being facetious.

I can only surmise, regarding force of govt, that the govt is enforcing landlord laws created by (your) legislators. And, that landlords are following the law? Am I right so far? I think I am, so then the next part of your post is that " (the govt) has a responsibility to make sure people can afford to pay the rent.
The govt has no such responsibility. Are you proud when you type silliness?

You just elected a felon President and you want to fall back on what's legal?

How about if there were a law saying anyone could have a government job? Would you defend that law too?

There are 364M checks going out from SS. We only have 330M people. DOGE has just found $4.7 T in untraceable funds. DOGE just discovered that millions in the SS database have ages from 110 up to 350 years old.

And you ask me what?? Congress authority under the Constitution?

I'll ask you something. Why do you not want this investigation by DOGE? All legal, all proper security clearance. Did I actually an Impeach Trump sign again? Can you tell us without cynicism why Trump should be impeached?

OMG. Did the head of SS Administration just quit his/her job? What is he running from? Such queers running our government. Do you know that Musk is bring the astronauts home from space? Do you know we are now negotiating teh end of Ukraine war? Do you ever write about how wonderful Trump's plans are for us and the world? I know you don't like him, but what about his plans.
Recall how I often mention 'common sense'. Trump uses that now as a catch phrase. And he and I have never spoke.

It is hardly believable that a person managing their own company with about 220 employees has the time you invest to post in a small Forum on a chess website...

To be clear nobody has an obligation to supply anybody with jobs.

And while companies have profit as first target, governements/administrations have the obligation to fulfill their legal duties and they do neet employees for that.

If there is no "bureaucracy" there are no rules and nobody looking afetr the rules. In the long run this will destry any society.

So please link us the the relevant court documents. I do assume that there will be court actions taken against people who commit fraud?

Yes, action should be taken against fraudsters!
What court documents do you refer to?

PS: Am I the only one here who is following the wrap-up of the Ukraine war? And why are you not up in arms about Trump offfeeennnnnnnnnnnnding Zelensky by not inviting him to those talks.? Marauder thinks that Trump should explain himself!
Are you upset and angry that Trump is kicking ass?

The ones that surely come with the numbers you gave. So the claims are corrobated.

I do not spend any time at all looking up such stuff. If i see news reported by news agencies, I just go with it. Silly me. It is what they do.
If I see a news report that the Washington Monument fell down, and write about it here...like, I hope no one was hurt, and , will they put it back up......we would all just have a laugh when we find out that the report was a untrue. Would you find AvJoe to be such a fool, commenting on a news report?
Why y'all be so mean?

Musk is massively incompetent at this and almost all his claims are ridiculous BS. Here's some facts: https://www.wired.com/story/elon-musk-doge-social-security-150-year-old-benefits/

Got partners,,,,,and, I have people like Musk running things, I am retired from all that race. But surely have my foot still in it! Time now to give back to the Community.

So you are retired, but walk through your company firing people because of the haircuts (you claimed that in another thread) and the people who actually do the work are happy about it?
