@eladar saidIt matters to the families of those who died, you sick bastard.
Really? How many people are we talking about? People die everyday. I am not so sure why people believe that such a small loss of life is such a big deal. It really makes no sense whatsoever.
The fact is, most of the New Yorkers in hospitals due to covid were locked down.
@eladar saidTell me again the last month in US history that 60,000 people (at least) died from an infectious disease?

Only a true idiot would be so blase about such a serious and deadly epidemic.

In any case 60k is nothing. If you want to get serious you need to hit 2 million. If you want to get something to shut down about, then you are talking 100 million.
Those are US numbers, not world.

So we need millions of deaths from an infectious disease before we do anything about it?
You're a lunatic.
@eladar saidIf you want to get something to shut down about, then you are talking 100 million. On the one hand you are bleating on about the damage the lockdown is having on the US economy, and now you're telling us that only when the deaths reach 100 million should a lockdown ensue. What effect do you think 1/3rd of Americans dying would have on the economy?
@eladar saidHow many people had chicken for dinner last night?
Ignorance of the facts? How many people have died in Texas?
@eladar saidAs I already pointed out, Texas put in a "lockdown" and mandatory social distancing measures when the State had had relatively few cases. They ignored your advice to let the pandemic spread unimpeded.
Ignorance of the facts? How many people have died in Texas?
It's too early to tell what the results of their recent relaxing of such measures will be.
