@fornichessate removed their quoted postYou said recently that you didn't care about the people in your own country who are killed in gun massacres.
I'll take weak empathy over that.

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidVampire bats and other animals might disagree with that.

Ever had a dog?
@no1marauder saidSure, but I think there is a difference between loyalty (from say a dog) and altruism in a human context.

'Altruism is an unselfish, often anonymous concern for the well-being of others, motivated by a desire to help rather than a sense of duty or obligation.
Loyalty is a strong commitment or obligation to a specific person, group, or, ideal, such as family, a country, or a corporation. '
Our AI friend.
For example, a human may help a stranger even if it puts themself at risk. A dog is only likely to do this for its owner. (Loyalty, rather than altruism).
@fornichessate removed their quoted postLMAO!
You guys really are completely clueless.
You wouldn't pay anything on a $1,000 increase in stock value unless you had other significant assets. And the idea that the Netherlands stock market will all of a sudden plummet because of this law will be easily tested and I'd bet almost anything it will be completely wrong.

But I've seen the opposite much more often. Animals can be very cruel.
So can people.
