It turns out there is no law REQUIRING electors to follow the vote of the people and if someone got 1% and the other got 99%, the electors can go with the 1% which of course is TOTALLY anti-democracy.

But that is what they CAN do. They BETTER NOT do that or there will be BIGTIME trouble for them.

32 states have laws requiring electors to act according to the popular vote. But for the rest, no.
