Actually, Kearse's face was definitely frightening and Dawkins is a solid safety. But Vick is always running for some reason and the Falcons are hardly the Patriots.
Granted, the Eagles won the NFC is convincing fashion this year (with the exception of the last couple games which don't really count) but I am just amazed by the Patriots. Everything t ...[text shortened]... mp the Eagles. And they'll do it by at least 14 points.
But what do I know? I'm Canadian.
You are Canadien.
Also agree on the game. If the Eagles play anything other than perfect/mistake free football, they're doomed. The only hope for them is if they can NEVER turn the ball over in this game, play defense like a bunch of crazed killers, and have a decent running game that controls the clock and keeps New England's offense on the sideline.
I have never seen a team that takes advantage of mistakes as well as the Patriots. They're amazing.
The Eagles have to be flawless. And all that does is give them a chance to win. Even if they play perfect fottball they could still lose to another one of last second fieldgoals from the Pats.

That's right. You're Canadian. What you're overlooking - and this is what the Eagles are counting on - is that Andy Reid held two playoff teams to 27 points, that not counting the last two games, the Eagles had the #1 scoring defe ...[text shortened]... are going to go down there and take that trophy away from them.
The Colts came into the game expecting blitz. They got fake blitz all day long. The Steelers came in expecting fake blitz and coverage and got stuffed box and blitz (and fake fake blitz!).
On offense the Pats controlled the clock with short dumps and passes against the Colts when they expected run and long bombs. The Steelers expected a west-coast and got long bombs.
Look at the Pats two losses in the last 33 games. One to a very underrated rookie QB at Pittsburg and the other to a very underrated (and rightly so) Miami team. When they prepare they prepare better than anyone.
So what will the Eagles face come Superbowl? To be honest I don't know.
If TO manages to get on the field then expect him to be double covered but that's second nature to all defenses by now. They may go back to the clock control type gameplan reasoning the less time the Eagles have the ball the less there is to worry about. Maybe an pretend blitz or two to get McNabb bootlegging into trouble. I think they might try the Atlanta trick of a play or two with 5 down linemen.
For the Eagles to have a hope they can't make a single mistake. No interceptions, no dropped passes and most importantly no cowardly coaching calls.
