Most people believe that Elvis Pressley is the best artist/composer e.t.c. of the twenteh century.........he isn't in my view that is this is what i think of him:

*He can't play guitar
* he can't sing
* he is a junk food addict not an "in shape" "fit" artist you see now days.

However if you look at the pros of Elvis yes he did sell tons of records,tapes,cds e.t.c.

But in my view:
Elvis couldn't sing or play guitar he was a drug addict and a junkie that's why this leads to his infamous death of him eating a hamburger on a toilet.

What are you're views on Elvis Pressley?

He didn't compose anything, did he?
Anyway, can't see what all the fuss is about myself but maybe it was one of those "you had to be there" things, like punk or grunge.

Elvis' favorite food was a loaf of bread, buttered, and filled with peanut butter, jelly, and a pound of bacon.

Elvis' success shows you the power of sales and marketing. I used to work with a lady who EVERY YEAR took a week of vacation and went Graceland. What do you think of that?!

I mean, you've really got to reach deep down in the well to look for reasons to be pissed off at a pop singer who's been dead for 20 years
the reason i'm pissed off is because people say that He is the best artist/performer ever!! which is totally wrong!!

By the time you were born Elvis had already been dead for 14 years. In other words, you're rambling on about something you know absolutely nothing about. If you expanded your repertoire beyond Ashlee Simpson, you'd see that Elvis had an enormous influence on the early years of rock and roll.

This thread is beautiful. Some cat call Elvis an idiot in the title, where he spells the King's name wrong. Nothing more need be said.

(Oh, ^%$&. I seem to be in agreement with the General for like the third time in all of human history. OMG!)

I wonder who is the bigger idiot? A dead singer or one who obsesses over the dead singers importance?
