The energy guzzled by Al Gore’s Home in past year could power 232 U.S. homes for a month. Furthermore, Gore’s personal electricity consumption is up 10%, despite “energy-efficient” home renovations. If they only gave an award for hypocracy, then Al Gore would win hands down:

agreed. Bill Maher should point that out sometime, when he takes a break from nut-hugging that tree-hugger. 🙂

I'm all about alternative energy and all but Al Gore is a hypocrite. That fool is going to tell you not to drive your SUV When he is flying around in a freaking Jumbo jet !! Go figure.

Please understand that Al ( The Cow ) Gore requires everything Jumbo to meet his daily needs. He is much more important than Manny & Granny. He bathes in terlet water and wipes his ass with carbon credits purcahased at $10,000 per foot print. He jumps from the beds of Hug-a-Tree to Green Peace with the frequency of a cheap CB radio. Do what he do....not what he say.

It's not surprising that he continues to use excess energy. He knows global warming, I'm sorry climate change, is a load of horse s#*t.

Should he take a sailboat? A hang glider? Is that what you are suggesting?

Can you suggest an alternate method of travelling for a schedule that demands you be in one country on monday and another one on tuesday?

Your point is as dull as your penis

ahh, poor poor dsr. Al gore buys a nice big property that subsequently needs more electricty to run than yer average 'merican so dsr gets jealous of a rich man...actually a rich democrat man to be precise.

He's a rich man buddy...you expect a rich guy to live in a small home? Is that it? That's the thing you we-todds can't wrap yer tiny little brains around. If you promote industrial and consumer conservation methods, it doesn't mean you have to eat lima beans and live off the land while churning your own butter and huddling around a single candle for fear of turning the light switch on.

It's about getting away from coal generated power plants, and making investments in new engine technologies like the new Volt from gm that runs on Lithium Ion batteries in addition to regular gasoline.

I have no idea what you are so afraid of. None of this will ever affect you if you choose to not participate.

Did you know the head of the US EPA (environmental protection agency) has a higher carbon footprint that many ceo's? Oh my God! Does this mean he's a hippocrite??? Of Course not you troglodite....it's just the nature of his job ffs.

Gore is travelling the world promoting sustainability in conferences and trade shows....how the hell else is going to do this? Just send everyone an email???????????????? give me a break.

Once again, you've created another mindless thread with no, NO thought behind it and all your minions have dutifully nodded with the usual baffonery.

😴

He's powerful enough to alter his scedule so that it doesn't "demand" such excesses.

You must live in a pretty strange world where a simple plan flight is considered an excess for a former Vice President.

United States baseball teams take more flights per year than he does ffs.

Y'all don't like him because he's a democrat. Plain and simple.

Correct!
It also distracts people from the accomplishments of our current Prez and Vice-Prez. And the Republican economic sick-cesses.

he might get a smaller jet. or here is something absolutely preposterous: he could take a public flight. traveling first class would be almost the same as a private jet in most airlines. but then he wouldn't be able to get up from his bed at 10am and be in china at 3 pm.(or how much it would take to fly there). he would have to sit through customs, have his baggage stolen or lost, mingle with other people. in short, set an example of humility.

i believe global warming is happening. i believe it may not be as dreadful as some say(or maybe it is even worse). but for someone to speak about global warming and the necessity of lower fuel consumption right after he got out of his jumbo jet seems a bit hypocritical. it is like having hitler discuss about the necessity of respecting human rights.

What is the source of the energy the Gore household uses?
