EU nazis, I hate EU nazis…

Debates

Obviously the original quote is about Illinois nazis. And, well, besides the fact that I don’t know if they actually exist, European nazis do.

They obviously don’t goosestep in sexy uniforms anymore (although some do) or do nazi salutes (some do), but they’re there.
And becoming ever more vocal.

Now, there are a lot of reasons why these nazis are creeping out of thr woodwork. Some reasons have been touched upon in these threads (alt-right speaking out in the US, the international extreme right agenda… truckers, farmers, anti-vaxxers, anti-global warmists, etc. ).
And there are other reasons too: poverty, insecurity about the future, etc.

Now, many of these facists are not in mainstream politics. Think of the Forum voor Democratie in the Netherlands: anti-Jewish, anti-moslim, pro-trump, nasty people (who support farmers using violence). A fringe group of morons, if you will.

Then there are the semi-main stream facists. Like Le Pen in France. A large power base, but never enough to actually get anywhere.

But… in some of our beloved countries, they actually are in power. Hungary, for example.

Just yesterday:

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-62313579

Let me quote:
"We are willing to mix with one another, but we do not want to become peoples of mixed-race," he (Orban) said.
Mr Orban's anti-migration views are well known, but for Ms Hegedus Saturday's speech crossed a line.
"I don't know how you didn't notice that the speech you delivered is a purely Nazi diatribe worthy of Joseph Goebbels," she wrote in her resignation letter…

Oban is just a nazi. Plain and simple.
But what to do with him?

My solution is to sell his country to Russia for a bottle of vodka and a barrel full of oil.

Has anybody get a more constructive idea?

Compete with the Russian troll factories that are fuelling the rise in European fascism and racism.
There is a reason Orban is friendly with Putin, the German far right also express an ideological alliance with Russia.
Russia’s aim is to dismantle the EU, it was heavily involved in Brexit and I’m guessing Hungary will be next, Le pen had to downplay her relationship with Putin before the last French election.

Whereas you find the victims of the Holocaust fair game in your humourless attempt to smear socialism you Antipodean Tory.
I’m trying to explain to a simpleton that putting socialist in your party name does not make you a socialist party.

Levi goes to buy a new car, he asks the salesmen how many people can you transport in this vehicle. The salesman replies "2 in the front, 3 in the back and 6000000 in the ashtray."
