Believe me I am not alone in Texas. And Texas is definitely changing for the better.

There's that "should" word again. Let's be clear. What happened is an unspeakable tragedy. I cannot imagine the horror that town and those families are going through. This is basically a whole town's population's lives ruined. But banning guns will be as effective as getting them out of the hands of criminals as banning crack has been.

Advocating the responsible and legal use of firearms, and upholding the Constitution, is a duty. This is where that whole "feeling vs thinking" thing comes in. We're united in our outrage over what happened today. It's unspeakable. But tearing up the Constitution isn't the answer.

It's not criminals who commit mass murder, it's ordinary people with psychological problems.

If you can explain how banning something which kills more than ten times the people that are killed by guns every year is more retarded then banning guns I'm all ears. Is it about the loss of life? If so my proposal is much more effective. Or could it be about something else?
