@mchill saidVery nice of you, I know I don't 'play well' in type, but I feel I do add some balance, acceptable or not, to these threads. My post, just above, for example, to throw light on a govt that is Reeely getting into the personal lives of citizens. Makes it difficult to grow and develop with them at every turn. I don't want my children to not know freedom and independence. There are many on this forum who would find fault with that statement. Rather, that I should get in line.
Joe - I want you to know I think you're a good guy. 🙂
Anyway, it is not about personalities, is it.....it is about issues of the day.
@mchill saidone of the qualities of liberals is their constant lying.
Just received a call from a former Chiropractor client of mine, begging me to step in and take over his billing and bookkeeping duties again. It seems his new superstar office gal (who happened to be the Doctors niece) just lost her husband, and mother to COVID in the same week, now she's sick with it and her brother is in the hospital on oxygen, fighting for his life. That an ...[text shortened]... e state)
One of the interesting qualities of stupid people is they tend to be self-eliminating. 😏
@shallow-blue saidNot being glib, but I feel you are once-again inserting the concept of govt control into this situation . A person should get vaccinated, and a person should have insurance to cover any sickness. Responsibility. Independence from government. Yes, rent the respirator, whatever it takes. They must take charge... of themselves.
I do. Voluntarily unvaccinated? Got Covid? No hospital bed for you. You can rent a respirator to set up at home.
If a discussion of this point of view ensues, I would like to know at what point nanny-ness sets in.
Somebody has to say this. We already fund abortions, ....what else??
@mchill insurance companies should immediately tell the unvaxcinated that their plans will not cover Covid related care if they are not vaccinated. The exception would be no vaccination for some VALID medical reason. No coverage for long haul Covid related health issues if you refused to be vaccinated. Since we have a for profit health care system, premiums will be going up and what is covered will be diminished due to excessive billing for the unvaccinated who are filling hospitals. Just hope you do not need a hospital bed due to an accident, stroke, heart attack, etc.
@phranny saidis this to be applied across the board? any person that leads a lifestyle that can be detrimental to their health?

Homosexuals are subject to diseases others arent, blacks are subject to diseases others arent. The situations are endless. Where do you draw the line?
@mott-the-hoople saidOh really now?

Tell us which diseases are you referring to?
@shavixmir saidoh really yes…facts are facts, even for a drug head pervert.

@Mott-The-Hoople anti vacers have a choice. By refusing to get vaccinated and/or wear a mask in public, they are endangering the rest of us and destroying hospitals. They have a choice.
@mott-the-hoople saidIsn’t it not amazing that you went straight for homosexuals and black people 🙄

Trying to figure out the myriad of factors in any individual lifestyle choices that contribute to health outcomes as opposed to congenital and external environmental factors would make any discriminatory policy impossible.
Anti vaxxers on the other are being asked to do one simple quantifiable thing to protect themselves and their local healthcare system from the worst effects of a specific virus.
@kevcvs57 saidAntivaxers are being asked to protect others as well as themselves and the health care system too. If these idiots were around during the polio epidemic and when small pox vaccination was still needed, we would still have people dying of both diseases, people crippled and some spending their lives in an iron lung.

@mott-the-hoople saidYou misspelled Republicans.
one of the qualities of liberals is their constant lying.
To their credit, though, they don't often know they're lying. The rank-and-file thinks everything out of Trump's mouth is the God's honest truth, and they just repeat the many, many, many lies.
@mott-the-hoople saidHe's not doing that. He's only blocking "treatments" that don't do a damned thing for the virus. There would be less hospitalizations if people just got the vaccine.
if biden wasnt blocking the use of medicines that can treat the virus there would be less hospitalizations
@averagejoe1 saidNo, "we" don't.

Ever heard of the Hyde Amendment?
