There were enough red flags to warrant an investigation.
btw, the intent of the investigation was to determine if the Russians interfered with the the election.
The answer to that was a solid YES.
Seeing if Trump was involved was a side investigation, where Mueller "decided" to not pursue any further.
Perhaps to prevent a constitutional crisis.
Unfortunately, Trump wasn't happy with that. It just ate him up that there was a perception that he needed help to win the election.
Hence there is now an endless Russia, Russia, hoax, hoax mantra......
Russia interfered in the 2016 election.
They in all likelihood messed with the Brexit vote as well.
The UK just didn't have a big crybaby yapping about it endlessly.
