Just as the prohabition laws in the 1920's made bootleggers very rich, anti drug laws in America make drug dealers very rich today. America has poured untold billions of dollars into it's "war on drugs" in the last 30+ years, what has been the result? Many more people in prisions, and no let up in the drug trade. If drugs were legal and taxed in America, and sold with warning labels attached, many drug dealers would be out of business, and America's prision population would be reduced greatly. It won't happen though, too many conservative lawmakers think America's feel good drug laws are the only answer.😏

While I agree with you about the drug laws, I have to say that you can't judge government actions through regular means of money spent and result. If you did that, you would have to end public education, which is hugely costly and has terrible results.

$40.00 for an 8th? Incredible!!! I would just as soon grow it rather than pay that much for 'bud'. BTW, when I retire, I'm going to look in the medicinal possibilities of weed in regards to my neuro-muscular disorder. I don't want to smoke it. Do they make a pill? if so, maybe I can get a prescription...legally, that is.
