Seemingly, trump phoned the FIFA top guy to get the automatic ban you receive with a red card over-turned for a US player.
If the US now wins, it’s going to go down as cheating and corrupt. How does that serve the US?
There have been 11 red cards this world cup and this is the only one that the automatic ban is not going to count.
I don’t know who sickens me more: trump or FIFA.
Damn, they belong together on Epstein’s island.
@shavixmir saidIt shows US dominance which is the image Trump and his many followers want to project.

@shavixmir saidWe already knew this USA administration was corrupt. Nothing new here. They like to shove it in our faces that they're corrupt and nobody dares penalize them for it. It's like if the FBI worked for John Gotti.
It shows US and FIFA corruption, if you ask me.
@shavixmir saidAs an American, even I am against this.

There should be fair play in sports. Equal treatment. Otherwise it just becomes a popularity contest, or a fawning attempt to get favor.
Trump needs to stop sticking his tiny fat fingers in everyone's pie, and mind his own damned business.
That said, the officials in professional sports have always been horrible in America, most obviously in the NFL and the NBA. I haven't seen a lot of FIFA games so the officiating might be better, but I don't know. And I certainly don't know enough about it to offer my opinion on it. And neither should our asshole president.
@Suzianne saidOh, the FIFA is a breeding hub of corruption.

Just look at the countries getting to host the world cup: Qatar, Saudi-Arabia, the US.
Bloody ridiculous allowing these banana republics to hold the finals, when they don’t even know what off-side is!
Not surprising. FIFA under Gianni Infantino may be the one organization in the world that can give Washington a run for its money in the corruption department — and that's saying something.
The World Cup was fabulous. Great games, great energy, in this country both sides of the aisle rooting for the same idea and the same ideal.
People stayed up late last night to watch England's famous victory. Down to ten men, hostile crowd, backs against the wall — and they won anyway. That game will go down in history regardless of what happens the rest of the tournament.
Tonight the US men's national team had that same chance. A national team pulling together, winning it for the guy who couldn't be there, writing their own chapter. A famous victory of their own. The kind that lasts.
That's been stolen now. Not by Belgium. Not by the football gods. One phone call turned a potential great American story into another Trump story. And make no mistake — that's the point. No matter what happens tonight, the headline is him. It's always him.
That's what people don't like. Not the politics. Not Iran. Not immigration. It's that one person keeps deciding he's more important than the rest of the country.
Too many of us can't wait for 2028. When the country once again becomes the most important thing. When we citizens and our nation and what we collectively stand for, once again become the most important thing.
@Bish saidSpot freaking on.

you do know the official violated the rules when making the decision to suspend? and that is why the penalty was reduced?
are you for not following the rules, or, is tds kicking your ass?
