I wonder if flat-earthers accept that global warming is real.
What happens on a flat Earth when the sea levels rise?
As for Genesis. Never did like the band.
However, the bible was penned at a time when a great many people thought the mediterranian sea was the centre if the planet.
So, it stands to reason they thought of it as a snow globe.
The post that was quoted here has been removedD64 claims to have special troll identification powers, it's a term she let's fly on the message board here all the time, unfortunately she hasn't woken up to the fact that she and others have been trolled big time by the so called flat earthers, they're playing a master game and D64 hardly ranks amatuer .

It's funny you take it so seriously, the true joke is you folk acting all self righteous and superior when you're the fools.
That's pretty darn funny when you think about it....probably loses some of the humor though when you realise it's at your expense.

Seriously. I love taking the pish and I don’t mind being on the receiving end (if you’re willing to dish it out, ya better be willing to take it).
But... I don’t see any form of irony in their communication.
It’s not like an opposite of the FSM.
Perhaps you can explain why they consider their opinions a joke on us (believe me dude... I hope it’s true).

Why?
There's no consensus on the topic regardless of affiliations otherwise.
What happens on a flat Earth when the sea levels rise?
Same thing that happens when the sea levels fall: water levels change.
As for Genesis. Never did like the band.
Early, i.e., Peter Gabriel stuff was passable album stuff.
The pop of Phil Collins was all fluff.
However, the bible was penned at a time when a great many people thought the mediterranian sea was the centre if the planet.
Yeah, those barbarians were so backward, they somehow had a complex--- and accurate--- system of preventing the spread of infectious disease that took every one else thousands of years to finally 'discover' how germs work.
Oh, and they also had a full-blown philosophically-sound legal system.
I probably shouldn't forget their financial structure, either... the one upon which nearly all bankruptcy systems are based.
Those nutty, nomadic barbarians!

Wow! Those flat-Earthers are really a nutty bunch.
Yes. There seems to be groups of them which are joking. There are groups which are flatteningly serious. There’s infiltration into wach other’s groups. And the lot of them are so paranoid they don’t trust themselves, let alone folk in other groups.
What a bizarre bunch they are.
So, I think I can say you’re right on some fronts of the issue.
And I seriously suggest others dip their toes into the madness as well.
No, you won’t come away thinking the planet’a flat, but at least you’ll think the people on this forum are somewhat near normal.
