Check this...the media is calling him a far-right extremist, etc, but in reality he was an anti-Trump nutjob calling for open revolt against him and his administration.

"in reality"

This is why you nut jobs are gonna lose the midterms.

Haven't you learned ANYthing yet?

You clearly don't know what reality IS.

Here's the FULL quote you didn't get from that Republican Facebook page.

"“These people (speaking about Trump protestors) are usually pretty entertaining, usually not for good reasons,” Ikner, who was described as a political science major, was quoted as saying. “I think it’s a little too late, he’s (Trump) already going to be inaugurated on Jan. 20 and there’s not really much you can do unless you outright revolt, and I don’t think anyone wants that.”

And try this on for size. From a paper that is usually a Republican mouthpiece.

"Inker, who was also allegedly caught with a handgun and a shotgun, has since been described as someone who touted “white supremacist” views and spewed “gross” racial rhetoric, according to his classmates."

Tell me again how he's not a right-wing nutjob.

@Suzianne
Apologies. The shooter's name was Phoenix Ikner, not Inker.

He's an old school Republican (rule of law, free trade, etc) who resents Trump's takeover of his Party.

He's probably a Hamas supporter because he hates Jews.

You eat up propaganda uncritically hook line and sinker. Democrats criticize Israel because it abuses helpless Arabs, not because it's Jewish.

https://www.associationforjewishstudies.org/podcasts/why-most-american-jews-are-democrats-transcript

Jeremy Shere: If you’re an American Jew, chances are you're going to vote for Joe Biden in the upcoming presidential election. Because since the 1930s, the overwhelming majority of Jews in the United States — around 70% — have consistently favored the Democrats over the Republicans.

Now, depending on who you are, this might seem like the most natural thing in the world. “Of course Jews vote for Democrats,” you might say. But historically, Americans who've achieved the social status and high levels of income and education similar to Jews have tended to vote Republican. So the fact that such a convincing majority of Jews are in the Democratic camp is something of a mystery.

In this episode, we explore that mystery, by taking a look at the history of Jewish political affiliation in the United States, why Jews have become reliable Democratic supporters, and why it matters.

https://www.tabletmag.com/sections/news/articles/jewish-vote-elections-2024

Per the National Election Pool’s exit poll, which was publicized by major news organizations, Kamala Harris captured 79% of the Jewish vote, a historically high margin. Fox News pollsters, on the other hand, tagged Jewish support for Harris at 66%, a number low enough for the Republican Jewish Committee to brag about it.

Even Adolf Hitler did not hate Israel. He supported the modern founding of the state of Israel because it encouraged Jews to leave Germany.

https://www.museumoftolerance.com/education/archives-and-reference-library/online-resources/simon-wiesenthal-center-annual-volume-4/annual-4-chapter-17.html

In the summer of 1933, soon after assuming power, Hitler's government signed the Haavara Transfer Agreement with Zionist representatives. It reflected Germany's battle against unemployment and depressed agricultural prices as well as the Nazi party's goal of forcing the Jews to leave the country. The agreement made possible the emigration of large numbers of Jews, and it also opened Palestine and the Middle East to German exports. Large-scale immigration of Jews to Palestine and the development of the country by the Zionists made this British mandate a likely candidate for German industrial goods; at the same time the agreement would undermine the worldwide boycott against German goods.

I found Nicosia's discussion of the intra-Jewish divisions of particular interest. The non-Zionists opposed the Haavara Agreement because they hoped that the boycott would pressure the Nazis to restore Jewish rights. In contrast, "most Zionists worked from the premise that the Jewish position in Germany was irrevocably lost and that emigration to Palestine was their only option"
