Not necessarily, as I said other things come into it rather than being the best club. A certain player might like to play for a certain manager or like to live in a certain place and play their football so all things will be considered when joining a club. I would have to agree with outburst, footballers wages are a joke. They are getting paid for kicking a piece of leather about a park.
I am an avid armchair supporter but would never pay todays prices to goto a match because I cant justify the money.
I read in the paper the other day that Henry has just signed again for arsenal for the next four years recieving an estimated £130,000 a WEEK as is 28 Y/O!!
That to me is a joke NOT to be laughed at.

Football clubs are businesses, they are in the game to make money not to entertain you.
