Watch this video.... its pretty unbelievable that they shot down that story like they did!
After watching about 6 mins of it I was wondering who are these people in the video? Disgruntled employees? Also, the whole basis of whats being discussed is never explained. The danger of bovine hormone being injected into cows to get them to produce more milk is? I'll be falling over from drinking a glass of moo juice? Where is the scientific proof to back up the danger? This just looks like a conspiracy 'scare' story to me.
But since thats what you generally post, next time I'll remember to break out my tin foil hat and put it on so the government can't read my thought and 'control me'
Have a good Fourth of July! Happy Birthday to the USA!

Dude, it is not a secret that in the U.S. the chickens, cows, ducks, and any other edible animal is like... er... chemically pumped up? Yeah, that's a good term.
You Tube videos as a authorative source of anything make me chuckle......
Happy 4th of July to you as well. Happy Birthday USA!

Funny enough 6 mins is exactly the place where they repport that management suppresed a news story for commercial reasons.
Not really the prime example of the democracy watch dog.
But hey, it IS YouTube - may be fabrication, any of you americans know if this really happened ?
Happy 4th.
Well to settle some of the criticisms about the validity of this video, I've dug up some info on the whistleblowers.
Steve Wilson.
"[Steve] Wilson ... eventually gained prominence during more than five years as an investigator based in Miami for the syndicated tabloid show Inside Edition. Many of his reports have won awards—at least four Emmys—for consumer investigations, such as revealing lethal defects in Chrysler minivans and Ford ignition switches."

Apparently the two are married.

Here is some good info...

The fact is that there were implications and at the time this should have aired they weren't understood. Fox pulled the plug anyway.

So going back to the story, where is the proof that bovine hormones are harmful to humans? Where is the proof they get absorbed when the milk is consumed?
Just a couple more questions that need answers
Originally posted by ChessJesterSo reporters should control what is aired on Fox, CNN, BBC or printed in the local rag? The editor has the final say, obviously these two are working at the wrong place if they can't accept that.

All news is biased and that's exactly the way it should be, the alternative is to have it controlled by....who?
The guvamint?
Nothing to see here, move along.

Fabricating the news isn't against the law, which is good news for both The Onion and Fox.
Originally posted by SMSBear716There isn't any proof that it is harmful to humans. Only that humans can absorb it. There wasn't any proof that cigarettes and barbituates were bad for humans at first either. This bovine growth hormone is a rediculous product regardless of whether it harms humans. The industrialised world has more milk than it can use without it.
Now the story has a little more validity..... just a tad..
