If you want to fly to a town not very far away in France, you are not allowed to. You are required to drive, or take a plane. You have no CHOICE! This is a Law.
Can you imagine that happening in the USA? For all of you lib weenies, this is a BAN!!! We can finally explain to your heads-in-the-sand what a ban is.
I was just going to move to France, but now I do not want to live there.
i have no idea what this senile bastard is talking about? what law? who stops you from going where you want in France?

is he drunk again?

You got me on that one! Naa, not likely. But it made more sense for my post to write in 1st person.

I simply wrote to google “France bans short domestic flights”. It is a law.

i am under no obligation to google your ramblings though this time i made an exception.

For those that didn't bother researching what the fuk you're talking about, France did NOT ban the choice between plane or train like you wrote in the title, it simply says there must be no more flights between point A and B if you can go by train between those points in less than 2.5 hours.

This is such a non-problem it is hilarious someone would get upset over it, but then i remembered you're american.

In short, a civilized country identified a problem, implemented a solution that would somewhat help with that problem and the solution would only inconvenience a few weirdoes that like going to airports.

Even shorter version: Angry old man screams at clouds.

That sounds so cool, identify a problem. We have a problem on our border, which has been identified, could you tell us how to handle that one? Meanwhile, France can dictate to its citizens how and where to travel. In the USA, that would be a loss of freedom. But many countries over there do not have freedom. Sad situation.

The word ‘ban’ is used in the header of the internet article. I speak from the law, … they, like all liberals, employ that word incorrectly.

See, right here Suzianne uses the sacred word freedom in a half-ass way to be funny, falling flat on her face.
Ah, but Freedom itself lives, without Suzianne. Thankyou, sue, for ironing out my point to Divegeester.
What I was "pointing out" was that you are as stupid as the one who came up with "Freedom Fries".

Tell me ONE instance of you actually losing your freedom in ANY way.

But you and your party are so happy to restrict the freedom of people not like you.

Freedom to be allowed to send my 6 year old to 1st grade with other 6-yr old citizens to learn. That freedom is now infringed, as she will sit next to a non-english speaking illegal immigrant. Thereafter, my, and her, freedoms start to drop like dominos. Goes to the freedom-bathroom, and waits for a boy to wrap up, zip up, right next to her. Freedom lost.
I could do 50 more, since you like analogies now, but these are not analogies, or fairy tales as you say. Real stuff, Sue.

Poor you and your "freedom" to yell fire in a crowded theater.

Other white boys think they have a freedom to shoot people.

Why do you hate people not like you so much?

NO, it is not that I am Amercian, because it would follow that I am free, so you must mean something else.
This move by France removes freedoms. Since uou do not experience pure freedom in that world, you have no concept of how wrong it is for France to tell people what they can and can't do in the area of travel.
Just think of it for a moment.......The USA govt retricts our travel? hahaha. I think I will go to the airport and go where I want to....and I dont need a passport. Y'all have to have one glued to your chest. Nazism!!!! haha
