My co-worker thinks that his speech exagerated John McCain's Vietnam record. I did not see it, but I read the transcript. It didn't seem like it was exagerated.
He thinks that if that happened to a person they would not tell the story. I have read the account awhile back, but not sure if McCain told the story or his fellow prisoners.
Although, being a PoW does not make you a good prez, it sure showed he is tough enough for Putin and Korea and all those other thugs around the world.

I did not listen to the speech, nor do I care to read it. That partisan stuff makes my skin crawl. However, I will say, I don't see how you can exaggerate enduring torture of the sorts that were done to the POW's in the prison that McCain was in (the "Hanoi Hilton"😉. For example, it was common to have their arms discolated from their shoulders by binding them behind their backs and then pulling them up over their heads.
Anyone that can endure that in that environment and stay sane is pretty tough in my book.
btw, I'll be voting for Obama.

Four more years of the same, of course, would not be a mistake to you?
"There is good change, and there is bad change. Change is not a destination, and hope is not a strategy."
...or something like that.
This "four more years of the same" talking point is pretty tired. McCain and Palin are also talking about change, just not the kind of change the left wants.

That is hilariously ironic.
