@no1marauder saidon a “case by case” system which is not happening
Temporary Protected Status is part of immigration law and has been for decades:
"Congress created TPS in 1990, giving the executive branch authority to designate countries undergoing armed conflict, environmental disaster, or extraordinary and temporary conditions that prevented nationals from returning."

And TPS status is reviewed on a case by case basis:
"If you are currently a TPS beneficiary under the Haiti designation and you have not yet re-registered for TPS under the most recent extension, you must submit Form I-821, Application for Temporary Protected Status, by Aug. 30, 2024, to keep your TPS benefits."

Read my link. TPS doesn't grant travel access to the US, you have to already be here:
"Once a country receives a TPS designation, any citizen of that country who is already physically present in the United States is eligible to apply for the program provided they meet certain requirements set by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), a DHS agency."

@no1marauder saidyour link is concerning an EXTENSION for the ones already here dumbass

You have to be physically present in the US to apply for TPS, so your link is besides the point.
Any Haitian here under TPS is here legally under existing immigration law and is free to apply for asylum or refugee status. Claims to the contrary, like JD Vance made, are false.

If all immigration LAWS are followed, what is the minimum time for an immigrant to be declared an American.
@Mott-The-Hoople
Since when are naturalized folks not Americans? That is 100% your anti immigrant racist agenda showing really clear.
@Ponderable saidIf it's the same clip that was circulating on Twitter by the MAGAs then....
