The floats at Karneval parades across southern and western Germany are known for their biting satire. As The Local reports, this year the main target of their derision was only ever going to be one man.

I am 100% freedom of expression advocate, more than most, but there's something fishy going on here.

1/ Who paid for the production of these floats?

2/ Why do the all look like they were painted with a similar brush?


Truly organic fee market parades generally reflect the diversity of the participants. These all look too similar.
