I've been doing some reading about Ghandi with suprising results.
There is significant evidence to suggest that Ghandhi was a sex pervert. It is well documented that, in his seventies, Gandhi slept in the nude with teenaged and pre-pubescent girls, supposedly as a way of testing his “ability to resist temptation”. In addition to this questionable practice, he also would administer enemas to them and have enemas administered to him on a daily basis. Apparently, he frequently drank his own urine, which he believed had healthful effects.
Advocating self violence rather than violent protest, he also suggested that the appropriate response to the Holocaust would have been for the Jews persecuated by Hilter to commit mass suicide as a form of protest. I would suggest that this, and similar distorted points of view, led directly to post-independence massacres of over four million Indians who were hacked to death in nation wide rioting.
I would suggest that we all start drinking our own urine and shooting up with enemas immediately.

the sex pervert thing doesn't show up on wikipedia. at least not at the moment. the anti-semitic charge does, but is moderated. see the Criticism section.
i've noticed that the Ghandi wikipedia page is prone to vandalism; possibly the OP saw a vandalized wiki page or an incorrectly hostile page somewhere else.

Whether or not Ghandi was a sex pervert (which I doubt, although he may well have had a penchant for young women), he was a dreamer whose ideas if put into practice would have resulted in India's reversion to an even more primitive life-style.
