Looks more to me like Netanyahu and some of his rich Arab friends talked him into an illegal war without him considering the consequences. While some of the right wingers here are pretending this thing is already over and soon they'll be a proper pro-West government running the show in Teheran, reality on the ground looks different. The regime is still in control, they've inflicted some damage and losses on the US, Israel and our authoritarian Arab buddies, the price of oil is set to blow up tomorrow and a substantial majority of the US public either oppose or at least don't support Trump's folly.
